“Hand in hand with God,we live love and learn together.”
“By God’s grace, we learn to loveand love to learn.”
Here at Antrobus St Mark's we accept children from their third birthdays into our nursery provision.
We have places for children who are entitled to both 15 and 30 hours of government funding and this can be used in our breakfast and after school club which is run by the school.
We offer a variety of different sessions that we hope will suit everyone with;
9-1 (Children get to eat their lunch with their friends)
9-3:15 (full day)
We can offer afternoon slots 12-3 but the key learning happens in the mornings so we encourage the other session times. If you would like afternoon sessions please speak to Miss Perry.
Breakfast club runs from 7:45 and children will be escorted down to their classroom by Miss King if you opt to take this up.
After school club runs from 3:15-6pm and Miss King will collect children from the classroom at the end of the day.
Children in nursery work alongside the Reception children in Class 1 and this enables them to get used to the school routine and access work at their level of learning. We take part in daily phonics and maths sessions and children have access to resources based on all 7 aspects of learning in the foundation stage curriculum.
Nursery children are included in parents evenings and a number of school trips and church visits throughout the school year when judged appropriate by the Early Years Lead Miss Perry.
If you have any questions regarding the nursery or would like to register your child for a place then please speak to Mrs Murphy or Mrs Lawless in the office or Miss Perry the Class 1 teacher.
