Spring 2 - Machines

Spring 1 - Pattern

This half-term the children will develop a sense of steady beat using their bodies. They respond to music and play rhythm patterns on body percusssion and instruments.

Autumn 2 -Seasons

This half term our music topic is Seasons. We will develop an understanding of pitch through movement, songs and listening games.  They become familiar with pitch shapes and perform them in a variety of musical arrangements.

Autumn 1- Travel

We will be working with our topic theme of Travel. The children will develop their performance skills and learn songs about travel and transport from around the world.  They find out about how people travel in different countries as well as finding out about new types of transport.
