Spring 1

We will be learning about the achievements of early civilisations by focusing on the Shang Dynasty of Ancient China. We will look at how these achievements are still important today and we will learn about how historians find out more about the ancient past through different historical sources. 

Autumn 2

In the second half of Autumn Term we will be studying Vikings. We will learn all about these settlers and their impact on the geography and culture of Britain. We will also learn about Viking beliefs and their daily lives. 

Autumn 1

Our topic for the first half of the Autumn Term is a history based topic called Windrush. We will be learning about the Windrush generation and their contribution to post war Britain. We will also be learning about the impact on the cultural diversity of Britain that these immigrants continue to have.
