The children are going to be talking about different feelings and  sequencing the events in the story, and relating things to their own experiences. Year one children will build up to writing a diary entry in the voice of Meesha.

Literacy in reception and nursery

Reception and nursery children follow the talk through stories programme in literacy. The stories are read to them and they learn favourite phrases throughout so they can join in with the story. They freeze frame some of the characters expressions.
