Maths

In EYFS the children have a short daily maths session which then leads into their free time where they are encouraged to continue to explore their interest in number, shape, pattern, measurements etc.

In Year 1 there is a daily maths session using the White Rose scheme of work. This includes a workbook and powerpoint to help the children to understand the new trickier concepts which they are building on from their learning in Reception.

Year one will have maths homework on a Tuesday to be returned the following Monday. Homework will be based on the learning objectives covered throughout the week.
