Reading

Once children have completed Phonics they then move onto Guided Reading. We follow Pathways to Read which also links to our Writing and Spelling lessons.

Spring 1

Our text this half term is Grandpa was an astronaut by Jonathon Meres.

The children were given a selection of works from the text that had been broken up into syllables. The children really enjoyed working out what the words were.
