Autumn Term 2025 - Properties and Changes in Materials
We will be studying how materials are grouped and classifed, alongside learning about how to describe properties of materials and how these properties make them useful for a range of purposes. Autumn Term 2024 - Living Things and Their Habitats
We will be focusing on how plants and animals reproduce and comparing life cycles of different living things. We will also look at how scientists classify living things in order to make them easier to identify and study. We will be looking at the work of notable naturalists and zooologists such as Sir David Attenborough and Jane Goodall.
Autumn 2 2024
We will continue our theme of Living Things and their Habitats and focus on how scientists group living things. We will look at branching databases, Venn diagrams and classification keys to help us to understand how living things are grouped in certain ways. We will be looking at the work of notable scientists such as Carl Linneaus.
